Reel Causes partners with R2R Film Festival to present Village Rockstars

On Friday, April 13th at 5:30 pm, join Reel Causes at the R2R Film Festival. We are a community partner of the Village Rockstars screening. Village Rockstars is Rima Das’ second feature, and already she’s asserted herself on the world stage as an auteur to watch. Entirely self-financed, Das has achieved a powerful and resonant portrait of a young girl resisting a world that relegates her to an inferior status. The entire R2R Film Festival runs from April 8th to 14th.

There is a second screening on Saturday, April 14th at 4 pm.
