The Film: The Perfect 46
The Perfect 46 is a sci-fi thriller about the world of “direct-to-consumer” genetics. Set in the quasi-near future, the film delves into the personal, professional and social consequences when an entrepreneurial geneticist creates an E-Harmony like website that matches individuals with their ideal genetic partners. The perfect match is 46, the chance to have flawless children.
What would happen if a personality so tied to the identity of his company had the chance to change the nature of our relationships? What about love? And what happens when human error interferes with science? The science is here now. The Perfect 46 reveals some of the moral dilemmas that lie ahead.
